Summer Journeyman 2013

“The Mission of Christ and the New Evangelization”

What is real Evangelization?
What are its timeless Biblical foundations?
What did Jesus and the Apostles say and practice?
What are the pope and the American bishops calling us to?
Why is outreach so important for our parishes at this juncture?
How can we learn to more effectively share our faith with others?

Come and find out!

Beginning Wednesday, July 10th

On Wednesday evenings, from 7:00-9:00
with a short break

Four Weeks Only!

At the St. Irenaeus Center
542 Blossom Rd. Rochester

This year’s theme is so appropriate to our “Year of Faith” and the call for a “New Evangelization” – a call that reaches out to every serious Catholic. We all need to come ever more alive to Christ and should desire to share him with others more effectively. So in this short seminar, we want to consider how each one of us can do this more naturally and fruitfully.

  • July 10: Session One – “the Basics”
  • July 17: Session Two – “What’s New about the New Evangelization”
  • July 24: Session Three – “Sharing Your Faith Naturally” – part 1
  • July 31: Session Four – “Sharing Your Faith Naturally” – part 2

Like all of our summer “Journeyman Programs”, this study is intended to give a broad but practical understanding. There will be handout materials and space may be limited, so please let us know if you think you might be interested in coming. Call us at (585) 288-1618 or email us at mail@siministries.org

Suggested Price: $5.00 per session for non-students
(but as always pay only what you can afford)
Each session will stand on its own. So come for one or all of our sessions.

Him we proclaim, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man mature in Christ.
