A Study of St. Paul’s Epistle to the Romans
Dear Friends,
Over the holidays, we have been very busy at the St. Irenaeus Center and we are just now mailing out flyers on our upcoming study on the Book of Romans. So please note that our sessions on this key book of the Bible will begin on the week of January 20th.
This is going to be for us a notable undertaking extending for 14 lessons, which makes it the longest study of this sort that we have undertaken, because it is that important that serious Christians make a careful study of this book. It is a study you should not miss.
Romans is our great treatise on faith, dealing with how sinful men are made righteous and holy before God. It also deals with free will, predestination, our life in the Spirit and our proper expectations in living as Christians, the special role of the Jewish people, etc..
Its controversies still divide the Church. Every major movement in Protestantism took its rise from this book. Yet unfolded from the proper perspective, I believe that this book proves itself to be a crown jewel of Catholic faith. It is unparalleled in setting the basic lines of doctrine vital to all basic Christianity.
In short, it is packed with theological gold or theological dynamite, but its language and logic can be demanding. Nevertheless, for those who give themselves to a careful study of this book, it can be life changing.
So we are announcing –
A Study of St. Paul’s Epistle to the Romans

Finally, please pray for the success of this study. We want it to have a real impact on the lives of those involved and on our area.
