The Pastoral Epistles

"I am writing these instructions to you so that you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and bulwark of the truth."

These letters are unique documents in the New Testament. Along with the letter to Philemon, they were written to individuals rather than to churches, offering pointed instruction to the closest of the great apostle's fellow-workers in Christian ministry. We believe that they also offer something especially appropriate and corrective to the needs of our Church's ministry in the 21st century.
